First time and definitely not the last! Came for mother's day and got in early enough to miss the line, but the restaurant filled with a line out the door by the time we finished eating so get here early. No reservations, I highly suggest calling ahead of time for the current wait time. Of course we started with the beignets! You should too. They are much larger than the menu pictures show, and come with in-house made huckleberry, strawberry and peach sauces... Try them all. I ordered the crab cake benedict with crispy potatoes; delicious. Crab cakes are dense but tender, potatoes come sliced, crispy and with sauteed bell peppers and onions. Add some of the Cajun Sunshine pepper sauce for a little kick! It's got good seasoning and flavor, and a bit of spice (my preferred spice level is high) so this was just right. Our server was so pleasant, friendly and helpful. Great for our first time and on Mother's Day! The moms approve. There is now a location in San Diego where we are visiting from, so that will be our next visit.

stopped by here for brunch with some friends and wow their stacked chicken & waffles was fireee i loved the combo of the flavors in the waffles along with their chicken. 10/10 would recommend this. my friends and i also go the mardi gras beignets which were so yummy in addition to our dishes. the strawberry lemonade was the perfect balance to my chicken and waffle stack as it was the tartness along my savory. perfect for family, friends, and if you are in area then check it out! the staff here are super nice and friendly and the ambiance of this place is truly relaxed and great for kids!

We met some friends in Livermore and had breakfast at Huckleberry's Breakfast and Lunch. The ambiance is typical diner decor. We were seated promptly for our party of 6. Our server was friendly and helpful. She kept our coffee mugs filled with asking. Some of us ordered breakfast, a few ordered lunch items. The breakfast selections such as crab cake Benedict, the Mississippi & New Orleans Skillet were all very good. The skillet eggs were scrambled just right with the right amount of sides for the specific skillet dish ordered. The poached eggs in the Crab Cake Benedict was prepared perfectly. We ordered the Beignets to compliment our breakfast. They were very delicious. The Spicy Bayou Chicken sandwich was savory delicious. The chicken patty was moist, not dry. The Bayou spice had just enough heat to liven up the sandwich. The French fires were crispy on the exterior and tender moist interior when the dish was served. After sitting for a while, the fries became unexpectedly soggy. Overall, we enjoyed our foods we selected very much, and I would recommend Huckleberry's for breakfast or lunch.

I had a day off and was coming going out to Tracy to do some business and stopped in here. I was fairly early and so not hardly a soul in the place. My server led me to table and was very pleasant. The place has a cajun feel to to it, and I differentiate from Southern, because IYKYK. The items on the menu remind me of a place I ate in So Cal. I settled on the New Orleans skillet, and decided in the huckleberry muffin, and a side order of grits (a must for me in any southern establishment) The food came and the the portion was huge, skillet came with reds (red potatoes) and topped with a tomatoe creole sauce. I had enough for two meals. The grits were ok, it need a little a salt, and for me to say that is something. The huckleberry muffin was ok, a little dry. However the service was great. Will be coming back.

Came here with my Grandma just to celebrate and couldn't have been better. The hostess/waitress were incredibly nice and attentive. The place itself was clean and had some folksy music playing in the background. The place lives up to it's name with huckleberry everything. The muffin was perfect. Light and fluffy couldn't ask for more. The lemonade wasn't too sweet which was much appreciated (nice sugar rum on it too). The portions are massive my grandma struggled to get half of it but loved the flavor. Would definitely go back
